Unuseless Inventions

Bored from generating ideas for PW? Why not take a look, if you haven't done so before, at the mostly humorous, always out-of-the-box, and sometimes practical ideas floating on the web?

Some sites to get you started:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/
Frequently featured in 8Days, sometimes in PC Gamer. Check out items like a rear-view mirror that allows you to spot an approaching boss while you're wasting time on your computer, thumb drives with military-grade data protection, tee-shirts that detect nearby wifi connections etc...
Just don't get carried away into the realm of fantastic science fiction.

http://en.red-dot.org/2029.html (for those why-didn't-I-think-of-that moments)

Caution: many project ideas may not be suitable or applicable to your task, but could give you some inspiration. Note that these websites feature physical products while your project may look at intangibles like lessons, values and missions.
